Loïe Fuller

France, 1905. Attributed to Lucien Nonguet, Pathé Frères.

Once mistakenly believed to feature Loïe Fuller herself, this film is nevertheless an enchanting homage to the pioneer of modern dance. A bat lands on stage and transforms into a dancer who performs a serpentine dance.
