Trong Nguyen

Trong G. Nguyen is an artist and curator based in New York City. He has exhibited internationally in solo and group shows, including Sequences: Real Time Festival (Reykjavik, Iceland), 2006 Havana Biennial, Performa 05 (Artists Space, NY), Float (Socrates Sculpture Park, NY), and Humanitarians Not Heroes (Tenri Cultural Institute, NY). His curating history includes amBUSH! (Van Brunt Gallery, NY), Who? Me? Role Play in Self-portrait Photography ( Zabriskie Gallery, NY), From New York with Love (Covivant Gallery, Tampa, FL), Nails, Nails, Nails (Broadway Spa, NY), and Eleven Nguyens and the Thirty Year Loss (PH Gallery, NY). He has written for NY Arts Magazine and Flavorpill, lectured at Reykjavik Art Academy, New York University, Columbia University, and the Catalyst Foundation, and served as art advisor to Art for Change and Vietnam New York Projects. Trong currently directs New General Catalog in Brooklyn, NY.
