Pat Kirkham

Professor Pat Kirkham is a design historian, lecturer and award-winning author. She teaches at the Bard Graduate Center for Studies in the Decorative Arts, Design and Culture in New York, and has written widely on design, film and gender. Her work on film ranges from silent cinema to more recent productions and from set and costume design to the films of Charles and Ray Eames and the film titles of Saul Bass. A Rolling Stones groupie, she supports Newcastle United.
