Fashion in Film Festival - Between Stigma and Enigma is curated by Marketa Uhlirova and Christel Tsilibaris

We would like to thank the following individuals without whom the Fashion in Film Festival would not be possible: Roger K. Burton for initiating the whole project by inviting us to curate at The Horse Hospital and for bringing an otherwise missing element of underground to our programme, Julien Planté at the French Institute for his lively interest, passion for film and sheer dedication to our Festival, David Cox for having such enthusiasm and faith in us, allowing us to expand to the ICA, and Cathy John for her enthusiasm, tireless work on the Festival development, writing suggestions and for reminding us to keep things simple.

We loved working with our guest curators Ed Barber, Roger K. Burton, Adrian Garvey and Alistair O'Neill all of whom were an integral part of the shaping of this project. We would like to extend our very special thanks to the artists, filmmakers and fashion photographers featured, all of whom made their work accessible to us so generously. We are still in disbelief just how much time and effort Sean O'Mara, the Festival's Art Director, was prepared to put in. We count ourselves lucky and are grateful to Sean for being so inspirational, and, not least of all, for enlightening us with his popular culture collections at times of worst stress.

A very big thanks goes to Laura McLean-Ferris and Inga Fraser for a huge contribution to research, and to Alessandra Olivari, Maria Papaioannou and Vishal Summaria who rose to the occasion, taking on a variety of responsibilities and performing many a practical task during the production stage of the Festival.
