Cathy John

Cathy John works in Development and Cinema at the Barbican, London. Here she secures sponsorships for film festivals, theatre and visual art projects, as well as writing and producing an ongoing series of programme notes for Barbican Film. Cathy studied American Literature and Film at the University of East Anglia, Berkeley and Kings College, Cambridge. Prior to contributing to the first edition of the Fashion in Film Festival, Cathy worked at the American Museum of the Moving Image, New York and at the Pacific Film Archive Berkeley on the Women of Color Film Festival.
